Great photo. A mates just got an ST, cracking car. No idea about the other two but they don't look too shabby

Good old tbops. Imagine a world where your Focus ST is the mundane day to day hack cloud9

Interested as to why you chose the ST over all the other hot hatch's available.

An opinion on this from a man who clearly knows what he wants from a car (hence buying the Enzo) would be an interesting insight.

I'm not too bothered about which is "the best" hot hatch, just like to know why the ST was chosen over all others available. smile

I had a first gen focus as my daily runnaround ages ago. it got me everywhere, never gave me an issue, ever. from there i got a new shape \golf that started falling to bits soon as i got it plus from going from 1st gen focus to most recent golf i found the gear change to be like shaking a stick in a bucket on the golf. Im not really a fan of the astra either, i admit it looks pretty but if i need to put say a couple of body bags int the back all those flashy lines cock up the loading and boot. `Also you cant get a vxr in 5 door and i am an active uncle and take the kids and my parents out a lot so 3 doors is out the window. As the original focus got me where i am today so i chose thi9s one and am really happy. It takes punishment like no other st out there but is happy to tootle along everyyday without so much as a wimper.

I see the 5 door element narrows it down a bit in regards to the competition.

The Focus does handle terrificly well when pushed, and has a lovely roarty engine note. Must have only helped the decision hehe

I actualy like the astra. I seen yours at VW Dizee. Just the boot space and the fact its not 5 door that stopped me.

Love the photo tbops, have said it before and I'll say it again, you are a lucky man smile (although probably more down to hard work than luck i imagine)
