E36 325 TDS touring

I have always like these, our local mechanic has a green 325tds touring seems to be going strong but guess he's in a good position to keep it running, might look at one for my next car if I decide I need the practicality.

The problem is I have a 65 mile a day commute so a diesel is a must, I have 3 kids and two dogs. My budget is obviously limited so its slim pickings for a car in budget that ticks all the boxes. Meh.

Know what you mean. As for the commute, all depends upon the type of journey I guess.

A mate of mine kept trying to wind me up saying that his Corrado was quicker than my 325i as Autocar had said so, hence I just wanted to see the proof. He's since bought an old copy on Ebay.

So WAS the Corrado quicker then?
