Passenger rides always welcome smile

We hadn't even seen the old girl for nearly year as we've both been busy with kids and work. Got it out of the garage last weekend though and had all the the calipers, discs and pads off, and gave it a general good looking over. Booked a track day for Friday 2nd up at Oulton so I'll try and get some video.

Ooh. Glad to hear it. That should be fun, if the weather behaves anyway!

Ben,

Thought i'd let you know how the BM is getting on in its new home. Managed to get it road legal for the Nurburgring and even though it rained all weekend when we went car didnt miss a beat and still managed to put in some fairly good times even though it was first real drive of her.

been on a few track days, all in the rain. Managed to make it to Bedford on Friday and was cracking weather and managed to get some good times in the car to try and learn how it goes. Well was the impression we got! seemed to be the fastest thing out there and nothing came past in the times i was driving! look forward to getting used to it and bringing my lap times down.

Think the idea is to do a few more track days this year, but her away for the winter and do some little bits to her. Then new e46 m3 engine and new paint and decals to smarten her up. All in all well happy with the purchase. Will let you know when im down at Oulton Park so you can see how shes getting on.

Cheers

Brendan

Hi Brendan, great to see the old girl being used regularly again smile

It was never the quickest accelerating but hopefuly you've found out that it stops and turns rather nicely. It's always nice to go past much more expensive machinery in a 20 year old BMW biggrin Definitely give me a shout when you go to Oulton.

E46 M3 engine you say. Tell me more!
