Like others have said, not keen on the bonnet, but without it you wouldn't get the rest so needs must.
Do you own any other cars?
Nice modding. Always liked the M5. Slightly rarer I find than the M3, appeals to me.

The bonnet is the only part of the visual mods that I wasn´t 100% sure about in the beginning.Do you own any other cars?

However - I am now very happy I got it and you have to see it in person to really appreciate it.
It gives the car a much "meaner" look and tells you this is no ordinary M5
As for other cars I have a 2005 Landcruiser 120GX on 35" tires (good for winter here in Iceland) and
I also have a 1989 E30 M3 for track (the M5 is just too heavy & expensive for track use). The M3
has an 3.2 liter engine & 6spd gearbox from the E36 M3. The M3 is superharged also.

Well done Mr Magnusson, the stratospheric speeds achieved in serene comfort a tribute to the perfectionist engineering, great to see this wonderful motor showing yet more of its potential, when 'Autocar' tested that red one back in '99 and it exploded to the ton so quickly even with the clutch going west I knew that the ultimate saloon car had been born.
The number of comments re:the styling in 'standard form' just illustrate what an elegant shell it had from the start, don't like its replacement.

That m3 thread IS epic.. must have taken hours to compile..
As said amazing cars you have.. utterly brilliant
BTW you must let me know your line of work as im sure that a huge amount of time and money goes into this..
Yes it took a while but it was fun since I got to "relive" the whole process As said amazing cars you have.. utterly brilliant

I am a mechanical engineer and own a few small businesses that are doing
well by now I started with no money 10 years ago and started my first company
while still at university.
I have always been interested in cars - some say too much Used to read
every car magazine I could get my hands on.
I however did not buy a car until I was 27 and I was 35 when I bought the M5.
So basically I have waited long for this stuff and I´m enjoying it

Thordur, I'm loving what you are doing with this - good man.
I do have one question... how come is it all the Icelandic people I have met are the nicest, funniest loons around? For example one friend called Jon - his nickname is Nonni. Why? His friends think his nickname should be longer than his actual name. Case two: Who in their right mind found out you could put tyres back on wheels using a can of lighter fluid and a match?
Cheers again for letting us see your toys.

Well "Jón" is a very formal/normal name - Nonni is a more "relaxed"/friendly one I do have one question... how come is it all the Icelandic people I have met are the nicest, funniest loons around? As for "exploding" the tires onto the rims it's probably a very logical solution when you
are stuck on top of a glacier hundreds of miles from the next garage
