The car will be at the Ring for the next 2 years so you will have to look at it there smile

Thordor - what made you go for the "Motorsport" rims?

I think it looked awesome on the Superleggras, are the Motorsport rims much lighter?
I bought the Motorsport rims from a friend of mine that has an E36 M3 GT. He could
not use them since he has huge ceramic brakes from an McLaren SLR up front.
I got them to use with normal street or rain tires. The Superleggaras now have been
powedercoated and have a fresh set of Toyo R888's waiting evil

I may also get a set of the old "Turbine" wheels in white to have an extra set of
semislicks on. That will look very nice.

Here is a video I just came across - it´s from last year, RNGTOY appears 2 times in it smile

Just got some news regarding the supercharger:

a ) The SC is out of warranty since it was produced in 2001
b ) No spare parts available for such an old SC
c ) Need to buy a new one mad

So now a new SC with a 2 year warranty will be sent
to Tauber and hopefully I´ll get the full 470 horses....

Heard from the shop this morning - they are installing the new supercharger.
Needed to make a small adapter for the output since the diameter was not
exactly the same as the old one.

They are starting it up later today - keeping my fingers crossed that
everything will work since I´m going to the Ring and Spa next weekend
in that car!!!!

My new 550cc injectors:

The car is now too rich on low revs but is pulling like crazy on high rpm´s.

I´ll have it remapped this month and then it´s Nurburgring the last
weekend of the month cool

Ok now the car is supposed to be in 100% condition apart from mapping.

The plan was to fly to Hahn on the 24th and drive the car up to Denmark (again)
and have Mr. X map it. The Tauber guys were going to bring the car to
Nurburg beforehand.

From Nurburg to Denmark and back is approx. 2 x 800km, 2 days, wear and
tear on the car plus €€€€€€€€€€€€ in petrol.

So... I checked how much a flight from Denmark to Munich costs and it turns
out it ´s much wiser to fly the master mapper to the car rather than bring the
car to him. Then checked if he was willing to spend a whole day on this and
he agreed cool

So now the plan is to fly to Hahn on the 24th, drive to Tauber (close to
Nuremberg) pick up the car and drive to Munich. Mr. X the mapper shows
up on the morning of the 25th and we map during that day and he flies
back home in the evening.

Which means I will hopefully be driving at the Ring on the evening of the
26th with approx. 500hp on tap after picking up a mate at Hahn on the
way to the Nurburgring.

Now with my luck - what are the chances this will all go smoothly??? biglaugh

Will do.

That Wippermann stuff was a bit scary - was lucky to keep the car from the armco.

Oooh good luck with the mapping. Post the graphs if you get them!
The mapping will be done on an unrestricted part of the A9 Autobahn
outside Munich - no dyno graphs smile

The injectors were supposed to be flow matched but I did not second check
that - maybe I should have.

_TC - your best bet is to use www.mobile.de to find a car, I used that site.
