It doesn't get used in the winter, been off the road for the last 2 months!

Wouldn't even bother taxing it yet but the south coast meet looks like it is going to be huge so will put it back on the road just for that paperbag can't run in the van with all those sweet cars!

Lovely looking car mate. Definitely prefer it after what you've done to it. Don't see many VR6's in good condition about anymore. Hopefully see you at the meet!

Its funny how VW's can look right with subtle mods. If you had tweaked a Peugeot or Vauxhall like that it wouldn't look right or at least you'd be flamed on here. Somehow VW's are effortlessly cool no matter what age or model. I saw a Mk 1 standard Polo last week which had been slammed and nothing else done, it looked great! Caddy's, Sciroccos, Caravelles, they're all super cool. I don't think there are any other car makers who mass produce a wide range of cars which always become cool

The masking tape looks remarkably good. From a distance in the photos it looks like they're painted. I may bring out the duck tape and have some nice black rims tomorrow!!

Aka "The Shockr" (sic). Made me chuckle. Sweet ride, tasteful mods. Any plans for performance increase or are you keeping it at OEM+?

Its currently got a K&N filter (for the noise really no performance!) a Milltek decat and cat back system and being an OBDII engine should be good for about 185bhp standard. Would love to charge it but don't have the funds and it drinks enough optimax as it is!

May look into a remap tho, was doing a bit of work down at Regal Autosport and Chris said could improve things a little bit. Or get a E46 M3 if i could find a few ££££ down the side of the sofa!

Not up dated this or actually done much to the car in the last year or so!

A few pics from a Ring trip last year where the old girl held up well, hoping to try and get another trip out this year.

A few recent changes include wrapping the mirrors and grill slats in 3M carbon effect film and finally getting round to retrimming my headling. It was the only thing that wasn't black in the interior and never fitted with the rest of the car in my opinion.

Grabby standard headling

work in progress

finished

Hopefully in the near future it will receive some uprated antiroll bars and possible get a full vinyl wrap over the winter with a change of wheel colour/change of wheels.

Finally a sunny pic!

Lovely looking car, especially with the standard headlights. But I preferred the wheels you had on when you picked the car up, never been a fan of the TT wheels of that design

Headlining looks so much better in a dark material, mine has had the same treatment.
