Yes mate its got the full votex kit on it, have got a spare front splitter in the loft as they are like rocking horse **** to get hold of!dave
They are copies of the Kamei bumper ducts that are hard to get hold of now, I got them from a chap in the states through ebay.
This is the seller but not showing any, may be worth an email tho.

Thought its about time this thread got updated with the new plans for the old girl over the winter. The aim is to improve the handling and generally tidy the body work up and give her a new twist.
In terms of the handling its currently running AP coilovers which will be staying as pleased with how they ride but am looking at fitting:
either eibach or KW antiroll bars with new drop links
full poly bush kit front and rear
Full geo set up
Other plans are to fit uprated engine mounts I am after a full set of Black Forest Industries motor mount kit just need to find someone in the states to receive order then forward on as they wont ship to the UK but think I have this sorted now!
The car currently has a Milltek decat and cat back system but for a bit more noise a Bastuck suitcase delete pipe will be going on to remove the silencer thats sits just in front of the rear beam.
Now the major part is doing a few bits of body work followed by a complete colour change vinyl wrap in Porsche Riviera Blue!
I have made a start on sorting the body work out, first of was to remove the grill as this had so many stone chips its unreal!
All rubbed down
Then sprayed to seal and wrapped in a vinyl (not the final colour but close) This will be redone when the whole car gets done was just to get an idea of what its going to look like!

Then set about removing other parts!
Rear bumper off and no signs of any rust what so ever! Just a couple of small bubbles to sort on the drivers side rear arch.
Gave the tips a quick polish no doubt the whole backbox will get a polish aswell!
Next was the drivers side sideskirt which was very well attched!! Once removed again no signs of rust or even if the sill had ever seen water! The bottom of the wing has a small patch of rust to sort as it looks like its gone from a stone chipping the paint of the arch just above but i knew about that before hand.

a great turn around from when you have got it like the smooth look to it, i have always wanted one of these as a second car to mod. what are they like to drive?
I quite enjoying driving it, keeps up with more powerful cars and had fun in it round the ring last year. The standard brakes I found st but have been pleased with the TT set up thats on there at the moment. The sideskirt had a few marks on from where it had been lowered to quickly onto a jack when it had new tyres fitted (was to low to go on the ramp! aswell as a few other little scrapes.
So gave it a rub down
Probably wont bother adding any paint as it will be wrapped anyway once all the bodywork gets sorted.
That brings me up to date, I will update as and when I get things sorted!

Had a bit of time today so thought I would make a start on the rust on the wing. Once I started stripping off the stonechip and paint seems it was only surface rust as i thought and was!
Also gave the front edge of the wing a quick rub down to remove a small bit of rust from stonechips.
Once rust removed was treated with rust killer and then a quick spray of primer.
Once fully dried will rub down to blend in better. Just a couple of small bubbles to do on the rear arch then look at the other side.
There is a little bit of welding to do on the top of the sills where it has rusted due to the door rubbers holding water (common place on the mk3) but will leave this until my mate with a welder can pop over and give me a hand.
So far pretty pleased with the overall condition of body!

Updates:
Have borrowed a set of Bora alloys wheels or the old girl to sit on while I do all the work and decide what to do with the current wheels. Looking good!!
Only problem is one of the locking wheel nuts is proving impossible to get out and the socket is starting to get a bit massed up so need to sort this out.
Had a quick play with some vinyl on the wing to see what it will look like.
Then started work on trying to sort the hundreds of stonechips that i have collected on the bonnet! Also had to do some work on the wing where i had cracked the paint after the Ring trip last year.
Once rubbed down and all smooth added a coat of primer, this has now been flatted back and is ready to be wrapped.
Have ordered the first lot of vinyl to do the bonnet and a few other bits, should be here the beginning of next week and hopefully get a few bits done by next weekend!

Wow, good amount of work there. The bodywork looks to be in very good order, an advantage of the later VR6s not having the plastic arch spats and sill covers on.
I think the colour choice is spot on, i've always been a fan of BIG DUB, dubsports twin engined VR which appears to be in a similar light blue. Are you intending to wrap the car yourself? any idea of the costs of the materials?

I do intend to wrap the car with a help of a mate who runs his own sign writing business and has experience doing it. Going to get him to help me with the harder bits and have a go at doing as much as i can. Should be picking up the first batch of vinyl tomorrow so may have a go at doing a few bits and hopefully get the bonnet and boot done this weekend.
As for cost I am getting the vinyl at cost so probably around the £250-300 area depending on what i decide to do about the roof (may do it satin black to break it up a bit) and how many times i get it wrong!

The first 5m roll of vinyl turned up this week!
So got busy doing a few small bits!
Then today thought i would take on a panel!, Pretty pleased with the outcome for the first attempt at wrapping anything big. Will probably redo it when the rest of the car is finished and I have improved my skills!
Hopefully get the bonnet and other wing done this week along with a few other bits, and look at painting the wheels, brake calipers etc!!
Also tempted to sell the mint leather interior for a pair of buckets!
