Really good photo's.

Though If I was feeling naughty I might suggest that the first pic of the girl looks like she's pre-op.
ROFL laugh Didn't notice that, now post-op whistle

I've been going through some of the documentation today for the car. Phil who owned it before me pulled together some useful facts and figures about the car:

Here is the original invoice, as you can see the car was purchased by a Florence Durr and she traded in her '57 Ford convertable for it.

VIN decode:

Phil had the car weighed, 1520 kg, not such a barge!

If you don't mind me asking; how much did that set you back? It is absolutely stunning - would something like that fit in a standard sized garage?

Great pics.

This is a copy of the ad when the car was for sale in 2005 (before Phil bought it):

I came very close to getting an 05 Mustang but went with the Camaro in the end. I guess I'm just a sucker for old cars smile

Had some fun at the Mopar Nats

Obviously I couldn't photo myself on the strip but these guys: http://www.blackettphotography.com/index.asp did. Excuse the crappy photo of a photo...

Which resulted in this...

biggrin

Runs were not so good as the car needs some tuning. First run I missed second gear, doh! Second was best at 16.9 but the carb still hasn't been set up right and under full load there seemed to be fuel startvation so a few gasps and bangs on the way down. Decided to give it all on the third run and the problem was worse so backed off about half way down before I broke something. Still, all good fun though biggrin

Na, the first one.

Absolutely stunning car mate, muscle cars form the 60's look soooo much better than current models.
