That's very very nice
One of these days I am going to say what the hell and get myself a yank tank, but I keep putting it off. The thought of running it and maintaining it as my only car scares me lol.

Get one before V8's are banned and we're all driving round in electric egg crates

Yes indeed, took it to a place called Southern Carburettors in Wimbledon who did a great job of tuning it up. Should do better on the strip this year.

I've just got back from York, visiting family and took the Camaro. 500 miles round trip and never missed a beat. Incredibly we only used 104 litres of petrol, working out to about 21 mpg! Much better than I expected.

Stunning car. My all time dream car, though in '69 SS guise. One day, I shall own one! (hopefully) biggrin

Cracking read thanks for posting so much detail, camaro definately looks better in blue than in red (but I am biased).. I spend my weekends spannering on this at the strip

Thanks, it's still fully street legal & not tubbed with the original interior (even the radio works)

Lovely... now there's something I could picture myself in. What a lovely shape! Does it require much maintenance?
