To get a (then) 24yr old onto an insurance for a originally 320k 6.7 litre vehicle, who in their right mind would'nt make use of their father's 22years no claims bonus (you only accepted 9) to give me a premium with me included in 2008 of £1700, 2009 of £2200 ! This year I am first insured driver using an Irish insurance company fully comp who for whatever reason didnt punish me for being first driver! Car has always been in my sole name, do I have to post a pic up of the V5? lol

And Rav 4 has always been in a lady's name and lady ownership in our household - but nice little dig there! lol

Cars I did insure (perhaps with yourself - and it was always me you wouldve spoken to) are a Toyota Rav 4, Toyota Town Ace, Toyota Previa, Mazda BT-50, another Mazda BT-50, Bentley Continental, Phantom, Range Rover Supercharged, Mercedes S500, Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van, Mazda LC, Cheriokee Jeep, Suzuki Estate and a Landrover Discovery !

PS- Id appreciate the name quoted on earlier post to be deleted please!

This just so happens to also be a pearl white car (same as mine) with the polish carbon fibre spoiler weighing apparantly 4.2kg

lol its an exact copy like for like even down to the weight, I actually found it on a lamborghini forum and it had many good reviews. They have a factory in latvia and poland and quite a few chaps had substantial bodyparts from them let alone just a spoiler and I can think of much more rewarding ways to spend 14k believe me than just a plonk of pretty carbon fibre screwed down on me bonnet lol.

Ai Hai. I wonder what the fate of this Lambo holds? smile

Gulzar, do you have any plans to ever sell the RR?

edit - Not that I'm interested in it in any way or can ever afford one. Just curious.
Lambo I’m still deciding lol But have ordered a rear wing in gloss black which I think really finishes the car! Range Rover? Rolls Royce? Both staying put lol

Fantastic colour combo thumbup.

It looks stunning, congratulations!.
Thanks bud!

LukeSi said:
Keep it exactly like that, I have a feeling it wouldn't look quite as good with the wing. And don't drive around with the vents stuck open and the rear lip in the up position. It makes it look like you are trying too hard. Just let the car deal with them.

And the car looks stunning. If you are even in stoke hehe
I think with the vents open it looks more of a weapon than just a supercar lol I’m still trying to figure out how to keep them lodged open and if theres any adverse effects at high speed :P

LukeSi said:
I think you should invest in one of those front lifting kits so you can get over speed bumps / a slight inclination / out of your garage.
Believe it or not in the pic it is lifted to the maximum lol but car has got a 15k optional extra racing suspension kit on which I suppose doesn’t help matters… It is actually stuck in the garage at the mo…it had to be lifted in by 4 men so the nose didn’t hit reversing it in and we are smoothing out the pathway and tarmacing the road a little to make it more lambo friendly.

Hey Gulzar, stunning collection mate. I know you like your dodgy plates, so may be worth checking out the next DVLA auction, lot No 552: "GUL 844R" reserve £400 hehe
Theres a police van in our area with the plate GU58ZAR which I think is better lol

Lambo is simply stunning and well done on the spoiler too. Regardless of ability to afford if you can find a decent substitute for a significant saving why not!
Could agree more! And too late I didnt have any samples to work from so I just went for the gloss black lol

Can't be many of those Lambos around Eastbourne cool

So, spotted I think, ~7.20pm this evening passing Eastbourne police station; right colour/model, vents open, although no new wing on the back and sporting an 07 plate so may not have been - had to double take, looked like a UFO had landed TBH, superb thumbup
lol that was me! I've just given it to a company in burgess hill to do all paintwork (tiny chips here n there) and to fit the spoiler ....pics below!

Looks fantastic, congratulations. Unless it's the SV, I prefer them without a spoiler - but each to their own eh?

However, my eyes can't help but be drawn to the condensation in the headlights. Is it right to assume it's not a cheap fix?
Apparantly after speaking to HR Owen (after waking up from fainting from being told new headlights are approax £10,000) there is apparantly a fix which is just labour and should take anything between 2-4 hours to rectify! So am visiting them on tuesday to have this done! Well spotted lol

Thats perhaps the plan! If I dont achieve asking prices they simply wont go and am more than happy to keep and continue enjoying! I doubt when the time comes I need to sell it will happen in 1-2 weeks so may aswell put them up now and continue to enjoy, but if someone bites - good, if not I'll keep for good! If I manage to sell both and a Veyron does come on the market I'll try my best! But as you know you need money to make money in trading so wouldnt be wise for me to make such a huge purchase without it being mostly finance! The LP670 I had my eye on seems to have been sold now for 207k so thats out the question...! But be rest assured whatever I have I'll always keep updates on here and my mods lol.

Honestly I would absolutely love to see you get a Veyron and then 'Gulzar' it.

Think of one in matte brown with gold grille, air intakes etc. Brilliant.

And you can guarantee a sale to someone in the UAE afterwards - perfect!

Gulzar, your probably sick of people asking this but any chance of finding out about your r1? I remember you saying youd made some 'changes' to it in a previous thread.

Edited by DannyScene on Thursday 19th January 22:52
I'll put up some pics later when its clean its pretty naff looking atm lol but few of the changes I made to it was Gold Indicators, gold fuel lid, gold drive chain, gold passenger and driver pegs, gold brakes (foot) gold brake+clutch leaver, gold trim around from visor, gold exhaust, few other bits I cant remember since I havent driven it few months! Heres some old old pics...

Im so gonna get grilled for this....!!! lol!

Before I got into stocktrading and I couldnt afford anything else this was my absolute prized treasure....and still is! Shes kept warm, indoors, covered and gets a oil rub down every so often lol. It was always my dream to have a superbike since I was young riding mopeds 50cc, 125cc, 172cc kitted gilera runners and finally a gilera runner 200cc which I crashed! It was the first and only crash in my entire life...and what actually got me into stocktrading! It completly wasnt my fault and a woman shot out infront of me on a dual carriage way giving me no where to swerve...I hit her and went flying in the air 20metres im told. I was knocked out but didnt break any bones and got up mad as anything straight after! But then ambulance came..strapped me down and usual safety precautions. I was 17 at the time. I ended up getting roughly 14k when I was 21 which was more money than I ever had in my account and I proceeded to try my hand at stocktrading...starting with actual big shares like HSBC, but then moving onto smaller shares like partygaming, HMV, sporting bet, small oil exploration companies under £1 etc...this then got me into CFD trading but I had a heavy tax bill to pay which was a pain in the butt and then I got into spreadbetting and its been history ever since! (and no more tax to pay). Seeing these old pics brang back memories...so I thought I'd share that with ya! The Bentley was my first ever purchase and was actually a gift to my father but at his old age and weight was abit hard getting in/out of so few months later he gave it back to me! It was then that the pimping begun......lol
