NZ made Hyper Car
Discussion
Picture this, I head out for my first test drive with the wifey, car stalls and needs a jump start - batterys been sitting a while, we drive up the road and u turn, I drop wifey off back at jump start vehicle, I look over my right shoulder to pull back out onto the road, and, a police car sitting right behind me (I live in rural NZ that sees maybe half a dozen police visits a year). I look over to wifey, she's not looking happy. Police drive slowly pass me, checking out illegal car, no number plate car. I creep off behind them while they continue to roll slowly down the road, I pull into first driveway and u turn. Police continue very slowly away, looking back. Finish my u turn and drive very slowly back to house. All up I travelled about 800 meters, heart beat feels like Ive just done a lap of nurgburg ring!
Pack car back into shed.
Head inside and crack some champagne...
Not quite the first drive I was looking forward to for the last 3 years, but a first drive all the same.

Spanked with a shovel! LOL .
I have a few new additions to the rear that will complete the rear.
While waiting for the weather to get warmer I have a few more pieces to finish before I head to Hampton Downs for some skid pan testing. So I haven't had an actual good drive yet...
I have changed to gauges-from the logger/dash for the street GT. This is a drivers perspective. I have now removed the red steering buttons.
Bit of a look inside.

Amazing car and looks insanely fast. Love long front and tear drop shapes of it but I'm also keen to know if the rear was designed the way it is for necessity or not because it is quite a shock seeing it.
I hope you don't mind the feedback but its bloody ugly, which the rest of the car isn't. The shapes cut into the rear look abstract and don't flow at all. The diffuser looks like it should be curved and follow the shape of the bodywork/the bodywork be straight like the diffuser.
It really is an aside though because the car is immense. If it ever comes to the uk then please make it public as I'd love to see it run.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi guys, I dont mind the comments, it is a concept vehicle, so it is for gauging public comment. The cutouts in the rear are to help with cooling of the gearbox and diff,(otherwise difficult with an enclosed floor and gearbox tunnel) also to vent pressure from the wheel wells. The diffuser is a work in progress till I find the angles and lengths that work the best before producing a nice contoured unit that will match the bodywork. Again thanks for sharing your opinion.Neil
