Yes, they are very tight lipped indeed ref power and torque output. Same with car weight/construction. I tried googling nascar tech stuff last year but gave up frustrated as most pages seem satisfied with "wooo big v8 yeaaah".

Right, I've been to see my buddy and he's started work on it again. Its off to be sprayed silver soon and then the fun begins. The car has a HUGE tunnel, the engine sits way back behind the front suspension and the only way to get it in and out is through the doors!!! The 'batmobile' rear wing & spoiler have arrived. The custom made alloys have been test fitted & the MA-HOO-SIVE brakes have arrived too.

He's not a great internet person so it's hard getting any pictures and he's not my closest friend so I don't get over to his place that much. However, I will endeavour to get a pic as soon as its sprayed up to post on here!
