I Got an update today, the new brake lines are all done as is the rear subframe,shocks and brakes.
Next thing is some welding as the 535i (Alpina used 535 shells) had different mounts in the engine bay for various tanks etc. The mounts have all come from BMW and just need welding on.
Then.. The engine.

It's been so long since you wrote this, you'd now be looking at £150 per fill (if you were using the long range tank, which you're not).Imagine what it'll cost when it's finished
