Hopefully things will get moving soon.

They have my 540i in there at the moment to replace the timing and rocker cover gaskets. Once that's done it'll be running spot on and then I may be having a chat with you regarding Evolve. wink

The garage owner is a friend of mine, so its being fitted around the daily jobs that pay the bills. It has taken longer than I planned mind hehe

I Got an update today, the new brake lines are all done as is the rear subframe, shocks and brakes.

Next thing is some welding as the 535i (Alpina used 535 shells) had different mounts in the engine bay for various tanks etc. The mounts have all come from BMW and just need welding on.

Then.. The engine.

Long range auxillary fuel tank mounted in boot, extra 20L taking total to 110L, yes thats over £120 a fill up
It's been so long since you wrote this, you'd now be looking at £150 per fill (if you were using the long range tank, which you're not).

Imagine what it'll cost when it's finished wink

Fantastic to hear about the baby - the 8 will put financial strain in undue places - I quite fancy a get-together of your E34 Biturbo Touring, a supercharged E34 540i Touring nearing completion and my E34 B10 4.6 Touring as the minnow of the group.....
