The Alpina Project
Discussion
Sorry i've been too busy since getting back to go look.
Its not ready i'm afraid. I got distracted and bought an E38 750iL .
I'm going to visit it in a couple of weeks, with the understanding it will be running, if its not running, its coming back with me on a traler and going elsewhere

What's stopping you sending it elsewhere?
Finding someone who has intricate knowlage of the Biturbo's wiring and all the extra bits that Alpina spliced into a E34 535 to make it. Also, Phil is a mate who has always looked after me , and that makes removing it a very hard thing to do personally after all the work he's put in.Chunkychucky said:

On the verge of giving up and selling tbh
what's the current state of play with it? How far is it away from being done?Problem is it just sits there for week after week, I don't have time to visit the car, and the bloke is a mate which makes things difficult. He's also good with electronics and knows alpinas very well, I would like to move the car but struggle to find anyone who knows these as well or is willing to take on the project.
