V8RX7 not quite sure what your issue is or why you feel so attached, a bit of friendly advice, step away from your keyboard occasionally and get some fresh air; believing everything you read and then choosing to post utter nonsense on a forum belittling me states a lot more about you then it does me.

Considering we have never met or spoken, I find it difficult how your self assumed position of moral high ground would lead you to such child like antics, please grow up. If you have surging to ask or say I'm always happy to discuss in an formal manner, I'm not a fan of social media drivel.

Perhaps it's because I have had dealings with you in the past.

You went back on your word - the fact that you don't remember speaks volumes.

Frequenting various forums it's hard to miss your reputation, if I can warn others then it's time well spent.

Tell you what, lets start with the basics:

Are you a car trader ?

Interesting, perhaps a case of mistaken identity as I've never had any dealings with you so not quite sure what you're talking about in honesty. It's a small world so easily done.

In regard to reputation, I again find that amusing as you base your opinion on nothing factual, it's no different to what you have been posting prior, utter nonsense.

Yes I'm all for looking out for each other just as long as it's balanced, factual and not to serve a sinister motive.
I'm open and transparent about any item I sell, sadly this works against me as people tend to look to far into some things such as the cold start of aircon on this car not being100%.

The cold start which is clearly mentioned and well described by the previous owner on this thread hardly batted an eyelid, I mentioned it to be 100% honest in my description, yet I firmly believe it would go unnoticed by any potential buyer.
The aircon is something that baffled me, I never quite understood why a track focused machine needed an aftermarket piped up system. My intention was to remove the whole system as it clearly wasn't going to be 100% right from the off set.

Anymore question fire away

A sinister motive ???

My edit - crossed with you post.

Are you a car trader ?

You mention it's your car - but it's sold right ?

It sold for £16,600 and then last time for £14,100 they were genuine Ebay sales not your mates shill bidding.

Not a car trader as such but formerly a parts (Evo) supplier.
Much like yourself and probably the majority on here, I'm a petrolhead at heart with a selection of personnel cars.
I don't hold onto my cars for too long and enjoy wheeling and dealing if you like.
Often come across deals or cars offered in px which I happily trade on.

That makes you a car dealer.

If you buy and sell cars on for a profit you ARE a car dealer.

So you offer warranties then ?

I think you're mistaken again.
No I don't offer any warranties although I did sign up years ago with Hpi and RAC to offer this service with cars that were purchased for the sole intention for resale, didn't quite work out as the cost of advertising etc didn't make it viable.

In regard to selling my own cars or parts, it's give and take, more often a loss is incurred as in sure many can relate to.

Having owned at least 4-6 RX7 V8's mostly conveyed by Craig, some good some bad, I simply could not let this car pass as the spec was phenomenal. I've been using the car since Wednesday and almost forgot just how good it is, an absolute delight of a car.

You have to excuse my frustration but having to deal with the typical Ebay scam artist or general tyre kickers, it starts to wear thin.

So to clarify...

You sell a lot of cars and PXs and have a large lock up facility but you aren't a dealer

Despite paying circa £15k and asking circa £25k you don't make any money.

Despite "selling" it several times on Ebay, it is still your car.

Despite me knowing who you are, your tel. no., your address (happy to post them on here if you wish) - we have never spoken or met.

Glad we cleared all that up.

hehe

Buying cars expressly for resale = trader.

HMR&C rules state that anyone who "carries out a transaction or a series of transactions with a view to making a profit" is defined as carrying on a trade.

If you haven't already notified them of this, then I would...there are fines/penalties for failing to disclose. Also, under contract law you will be treated differently by the courts in the event of a dispute.

Of course, I suspect you know both of these points already...

Havoc yes thanks I know and comply with the above but for some odd reason V8RX7 has a bee in his bonnet and continuously tries to emply something sinister, being as though this is PistonHeads and a car related forum it's quite interesting to see just how many people buy and sell as a hobby based pass time or a part time source of revenue, not really news worthy or different is it.

V8RX7 my details are openly available, I didn't realise they're supposed to be a secret, again your obsession towards who I am or my car/s states a lot more about you then it does me, I don't know if I should laugh or cry at your self emposed detective work, seriously get a grip of yourself and quit being an internet troll. Still interested to know what you're trying achieve here or how your opinion has anything to do with my car? Just read your above posts, you come across as being very vendictive and your posts make no sense, what exactly have you clarified except cherry picking and taking out of context certain statement?

Again no idea who you are, never spoken to you or dealt with you, however quit hiding behind your screen and keyboard and grow a pair, if you genuinely have an issue pick up the phone and discuss it like a civilised adult (you have my number apparently), I doubt you ever will but do what you do best and lets all hear about how I supposedly done you wrong??

When the hate doesn't work, people resort to lies, how sad.

On a positive note, another lovely day in the rx7 v8.

Thread revival!

What happened to this car? Fantastic spec, as much as I like a rotary, the LS suits it so much.
