Blue32, have you fitted a haldex controller?

And where did you get the supercharger from?

Think it might have been silver or white

It’s running the standard Haldex controller.

The supercharger was fitted by Storm Developments

Nice car...think i remeber staring at it quite a bit at the shell garage on the A20 last weekend
Thanks, were you in the black Astra? I did spot you having a look. I spend too much time in those garages on the A20frown.
Yeah that was me smile I love seeing cars like yours...subtle but i suspected it wasn't standard when i saw the badge on the back.

I dont blame you for using those garages though..often the cheapest around and that car can justify it

Mate of mine desinged a kit based around the rotrex for the 306 GTi-6 (2ltr 16v 6 speed engine), and he has around 500 bhp on his after lots of engine work etc, I have been in it, is a very very nice power delivery like you said, but it just keeps coming.

Looks good, his is also pretty standard, apart from the intercooler :P

Do you find the additional power forces the haldex to send more power to the rear axle?

Thats awesome!

I'd love to build something like that in a few years time.

To be honest I’ve never really noticed it shifting the power around. It did try and swap ends once or twice in the snow and ice in December/January which was fun biggrin, traction was surprisingly good in the slippery conditions.

That's interesting, I thought such a huge increase might have confused it!

Good news though. Dammit man, you're tempting me to supercharge mine!

Is yours manual or dsg?

Mines manual (DSG wasn’t available in the MKIV), I think the supercharger would work really well with a DSG.
There is one MKV I know of running the same kit not sure if it’s DSG though.

What have you got?

You have to leave the calipers black. Ultimate sleeper!

I tip my hat to a nice installation. FI 450 must be great. I got bored with NA 414 very quickly but the power delivery was very smooth.

A friend owneed the 1st roxrex'd mk5 R32 in the country, twas Storm Developments test bed for the kit, charger sat down by the PAS pump, really really low! his ran around the 530bhp mark with KW coilovers, sticky tyres and haldex controller, big brakes too.

VERY quick, amazing power delivery, but it had a few niggles and he sold it, got sick of changing coil packs, i belieive the new owner made it spit a rod?

reg is KU06xxx? silver with carbon bonnet, black roof an a few other things.

your MK4 looks immense, i really fancy one after my Ibiza, but think i'd sway towards turboing it...
