2. Rattle from exhaust - Ragazzon rear section has 'had it', not much I can do with it. frown So I ordered a Biscione Racing 128x80 single exit pipe (but this one has a muffler on it), so it should hopefully 'calm down' the noise a little bit. TBH is a bit obnoxious as it stands now. I thought id try Biscione racing as opposed to a Ragazzon unit, and when the thing turns up its bloody made by Ragazzon! hehe
Any chance you could describe this rattle?

I too have the Ragazzon exhaust with an annoying rattle, however both Alfa and local alfa indy have never been able to identify it

It only does it when the exhaust is very warm - i.e. after a 40min blast down the motorway to work.

It sounds more like an exhaust hanger at fault (but we've checked all those and they are fine) - the sound itself is quite difficult to describe - its a metallic rattle and squeak coming from the rear section and it resonates with the engine revs, particularly if you are reversing for some reason!
Yep, that sounds similar. Never hear it in reverse but only between 3200 rpm to around 4k rpm

Looking great.
Just changed my front badge this week. God what a pain, i managed to lever the grill out just enough to undo the two lugs behind the badge. Still looks better smile

Although slightly dissapointed by the old girl, it almost seems like you might have turned it into something reliable. biggrin

Love it and it completely reminds me of my classic Impreza that seemingly has a never ending list of stuff to do.

I also love my car though so I forgive it for what it does to me!

It looks so good on those wheels.

I was looking for a cheap winter droptop last week and saw this this in the classifieds, for some reason i wasn't as tempted as i should be, i mean what could possibly go wrong? hehe

Then i saw this one which thankfully is well over budget.

Ever thought of putting the 'aero pack' front splitter on it? It made my 916 v6 look a lot more menacing.

^^ Cracked screen is a bugger, but you deserve man points for attempting to go topless on a cold day biggrin

Is there a glass screen you could upgrade to?

Fair play Alex...I ran a 916 for a couple of years a while ago and had nothing like the issues you've had. (My biggest failure was the rear screen cracking after I went topless at -7 degrees.

I still love the little Spiders and on the new wheels yours looks great.
