Half way through I was thinking "rear end looks great, he should ditch that wacky carbon bonnet and go for a plain one" laugh Really like how the car looks now, nice job!

Love the bonnet and rear spoiler subtlety, given the power the car is running.

Much better than a chavtastic shouting exterior. Brilliant.

Sounds like so much work and money gone into the car, and it looks great.

Quality hobby smile

I really like it, great job! I'm so glad you got rid of that carbon bonnet, it ruined the whole look of the car.

Quality, biggrin

An STI in n/a clothing, that looks so much better than the plethora of chavved up, identikit look at me WRX's that have been driving past my work this morning. Almost makes me want a saloon, but not quite. smile

Love it.

Cracking read. Really like the car. Very strange not seeing the spoiler. I like it just looks very different.

totally suits the normal bonnet and spoilerless look. have you noticed any increase in running tempts or dead spots due to heat soak?

im running a fmic so dont realy get heat soak on the intercooler. on normal driving the inlet air temp is around +6 dec c over air ambent temp.

when i have the standard or the vented bonnet, it was slighly cooler, but from being a little warmer its nothing to worry about.

thanks for the kind comments all

Gah! You've got me looking at Imprezas in the classifieds now. Bloody nice car, I was a little worried that you hand't grasped the meaning of 'sleeper' when I saw the carbon bonnet but you came through in the end.

Great read - as mentioned above - well understated for a scooby!

Im not mad about the bonnet Ian... Seibon bonnets are usually GRP with a layer of wet laid CF over the top - a JDM alloy bonnet is lighter too.

Ive never seen a KnockLink in the vent before. Had you considered placing the lamps in the 'roof' of the binnacle? Unobtrusive but easy to see when it lights up like a Christmas tree biggrin

Very nice build, how much has it cost you so far, you dont have to include bits like the carbon bonnet that you threw away (thank God)

perhaps i am biassed but i much prefer what it looked like in the 2nd pic, obviously under the bonnet it looks much better though.
