thats a turbo blanket. keeps the heat in where the turbo is, and not letting it out as easy to go around the engine bay

Right ok. A few years ago when I had a Turbo motor I was thinking about ceramic coating. Apparently it can greatly reduce heat transfer.

ceramic coating is a fair bit better, but it is also a fair amount more to buy.

the same is the exhaust exhaust manifold. i have mine heat wrapted with the bandage type wrap. abd ceramic coating would be better but also cost alot more

you've got that looking bloody nice mate. i'm always 50/50 about imprezas as the styling is often a bit OTT but i always suspected there was a nice shaped car under there somewhere. excellent stuff!

christ, i tohught you'd had something airbrushed on in that last one for a minute. blow a clearer hole leaving more of a solid blend round the edges i reckon. if you stick both pics up i'll do one.

they are good. i thave the inverted version, with the adjuster knob at the bottom.

I went for a softer spring rate, with 5 up front and 4 at the rear.

it stills gives a harder ride that standard sti shocks and springs. but nothing as hard as some teins i have had in the past.

the apex and bc coilovers are the same, with just different colours

when we had had the hod day or so this year, i had noticed that my oil temps were getting hotter than what i really would of liked. I have had a new rad fitted so i knew that it wasnt that. so i brought a mocal oil cooler.

Not really, I have my air filter in the wing, inlet manifold and header tank insulators/spacers. And on the act gauge it is normally only a few deg over ambient temp

Wow, just come to the end of reading the build and I think what you've achieved is great. How much do you think the overall build has cost? Do you have any intentions to take it out on the track?

An amazing job you've done there though, and I quite agree that the spoilerless look does seem to work.
