Just had a call, Trans line blew inside RV3, Andy taken to medical centre.
Relieved to say Andy is 100% ok and car needs a clean inside....bit of a mess I'd guess.

i am sure they know a bloke with some spaners who can play with the trans line and gearbox if needs be  well done on the record BTW

I guess it's scarey having trans fluid squirting around inside the car.  Positive side, if the lines ran under the car...got on the slicks.....well it has been the ruin of lots of drag cars and doesn't bare thinking about that outcome. So the end result is a good one really.

i may be being a bit thick here, so bear with me.
You are competing in the pro mod class which has no obligation for the cars to be road legal, but you choose for yours to remain road legal anyway so you can break specific records and generally have a point of interest.
so for you to come second in that competition was actually a properly good result as you will always have an inherent disadvantage to the other cars in your class.
If so, well done.
