Time has dragged on and ive not driven the car since March/April and i wasnt really able to get my toe down as it wasnt generating enough fuel pressure.

So the fuel system finally went in and was completed, aswell as the Koyo Rad. Map checked and leak test and i drove it 180miles!

Ohhh i forgot how fast it really is, with 505hp now and reving to 9000rpm my gosh it pulls like a train. Quite scary! But it drives like a normal car below boost expect for the clutch, the gauges, the fuel pumps you can hear, lol.

I'll be working on a few bits these weekend and hoping to get it all complete and some pictures up on the weekend maybe.

I wanted to keep it real sleeper but the grille has to come off, and be replaced with Black mesh to vent more cold air in and hot air out, aswell as multiple bonnet vents. Im going to try and keep it still abit sleeper but the bonnet vents might give it away.

Anyways ive not really any new pictures until this weekend, i finally found a Turbo Jacket large enough which i can fit this weekend, along with a new shiny rocker cover, hook up my Oil Temp gauge as its disconnected at the mo. Then i'll get some pics.

Heres the turbo glowing when i got home the other day after giving it some abuse.

And hear is the fuel system - Hoping to blank it off and use abit of perspex.

Fueling now consists of:

1000cc ID's
AEM Fuel Rail
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Reg
2ltr Swirl Pot
Walbro 255 internal Pump
X2 Walbro External Pumps
Dash 8 from Pumps to Fuel rail
Dash 6 return.

Hopefully more on the weekend smile

Cheers Chaps.

Here is the current power and torque graph. The car is mapped to 9000rpm, however on this run the Mapper Romain @ Eurospec lifts of at 8250 where it makes peak power. The car has had over 200 dyno runs lol.

Its mega mate, took it out last night. OMG is all i can ever say. Mental isnt the word lol. Soon as i get on the power im on the brakes. I cant actually describe how quick it is. Here are a few random pics from last night.

And some pics from today. Did a few simple jobs, hooked up the Oil temp again, new rocker cover on, cleaned out the engine bay alittle. Now venting the bonnet. Tomorrow will be a full interior valet, if the weather stays nice smile

Sticker Fetish coming on?

Nice project! Did I miss something or are you really running without an air filter?

Cheers guys!

Regards intercooler, i might leave it silver, black gets too hot, i enough cooling issues at the mo as it is, lol. Im going to put some fine black messh infront of it to try and hide it for now i think.

No air filter at the moment, but once the bonnet vent is in and the grille is complete mesh im going to need one just incase i suck a cat or a dog up into the turbo.

So today i got a few bits done:

1) Finally sprayed the intercooler Satin Black, looks so much better and you cant tell its there! (This will please you guys)
2) Got A048R's fitted all round
3) Cleaned interior and boot as it hasnt been cleaned for nearly for over a year and half, whilst the build has been going on.

Few pics from today.

Intercooler prep

Sprayed Satin Black

Looks so much better now smile

A few other shots

Yes thats right, i do not run a Stereo in this car biggrin

This is about a million times cleaner now lol.

Boot cleaned out, and carpet trimmed alittle. Fuel system.

Its getting there. Jobs for tomorrow are:

1) Black Mesh front bumper, includ fog light holes
2) Finish off bonnet with Vent and Grille
3) Clean wheels / Calipers and Compound mop the car.
4) Clean engine bay (detail) fit new Turbo Blanket

Then all that remains really is my new wheel nuts to go, and a few sutble stickers that i need to put on. smilesmilesmile

Brilliant! Couple of questions for you; one of the first pictures of the turbo had an actuator arm but had v-band hotside housing, you also have an external gate so why does it have an actuator built on to the turbo?

Also did you get the block overbored or did you just hone the bores?

Fantastic project though - hats off to you biggrin

You can actually run both gates. But im running external only at the mo. The internal gate is current shut. Block was bored and sleeved with Darton 88mm Iron sleeves then honed.

Cheers smile
