great cars! and i think so much more honest and credible than the mk2 version.... although i am a little biased as a member of the original small development team on RS with many 000's of happy miles of RS thrashing under my belt:
trip cars catching a little lime light outside Dunton HQ
sunning themselves on the shores of the Adriatic
mountains:
more mountains:
Stelvio:
stuck at the top (pass wasnt fully opened yet, somethings even an RS can't climb ;-):
probably my fav RS pic:
sorry for the thread hijack, but thought you might like to see those pics (never been seen before) and enjoy your car !!!

Well I've had a small bump in the snow car slid & couldn't save it & I bumped a kerb, I have managed to ruin my steering rack rang ford as the rs rack is unique to the model to be quoted £1028+ vat luckily there is a ford dealer that advertises on eBay that have a huge stock of rs parts & are selling them off cheap so have got one on way for £115.50 !i also need to fit a wheel bearing (slightly noisy) so am going to do that at the same time then set all the geometry back up & fingers crossed she will be as good as new '
Do love the RS, have known a few people with them in the past and they seem to get under the owners skin very quickly!!!
hopefully see i on a run sometime soon, think i saw it at maidstone services for one of te earlier sunday services a few years ago (at a train station, but cant remember where it was now!)
Glad its all fixed, and at a good price aswell

It was indeed... but it was purely my fault, managed to leave the expansion cap off and lost all the water pro active approach didnt work quite as i hoped
I remember it sounding very healthy back then, god knows what your car must be like now!

Bit of an update not had a lot of luck with the car recently first a customer at my work hit the front (just drove off caught by the CCTV) then two days later my mums friend hit the rear just getting paperwork for the front (insurance ) sorted so it can go in & be sorted, also had this the turbo oil feed banjo bolt snapped luckily I noticed an oil leak & it didn't let go completely while I was driving the car
I came extremely close to selling it recently but despite the recent issues Ive found myself falling in love with it all over again so once the paintworks sorted I will be doing a few other bits to freshen it up a bit
Also went for a bit of a run with sw02tec in his stunning mk2 focus rs yesterday which was lots of fun I must say that even stock they sound fantastic at full chat

Hello Neil, you've set me off wondering about that banjo bolt on mine now. I don't fancy paying nearly £100 for the pipe that comes with the bolt.
I'll see if Grahame can get me just the bolt.
I still think the FRS looks better with the standard colour wheels, I'll have too get mine done.

Im sure the bolt will be available from somewhere on its own but i didnt have time to mess around trying to find one I'll see if Grahame can get me just the bolt.
