Great looking car. I bought just the 2.5 for Louise a couple of years ago and have to say, it is one of the best cars I have every bought, it has been spanked around Cadwell and hooned across France, Switzerland and Italy.

Have been tempted to supercharge it many times. Am I right to think about £5k?

Great looking car, and i am a fan of the wheels, having them on an E91. Sorry to hear about your lone parenting and I hope the story behind it isn't too awful. Well done on keeping the Z4M and getting to enjoy it now!
its not the best of stories to be honest.... :-( life moves on.... and it has done, we are doing as well as we could do.... i would never give up on my passion and hobby i just knew it would have to take a serious backseat for a while, but i can say during my darkest times this passion / hobby has kept me going.

one thing i never understand from being on these forums is why us men have a wife, a baby then all of a sudden were selling all the things we love so much, like our pride and joys.... imo thats the time when we need it most as an escape from the mundane..... This car will stay with me for as long as i can keep it, id like to then give it to my son one day :-)

id LOVE an e91 like yours however....

im not sure how much the non ///m kits are but theirs alot of hidden costs...... one you start ordering the options too, things get expensive..... not to mention everything that breaks too..... the 2,5 would be a twinscrew kit and they are incredible... you wont want louise to to have it!!!! lmao!! you'll want it back!!

Awesome car. That HPF one lools good fun too.

I really like the wheel swap from the pics you've put up but some full car shots would be good to see.

Glad you posted an update as after you posted some pics of the car on another thread recently I was going to revive this one asking for more pics

i will, hoping to wheel her out properly soon and get some proper pics, i was waiting till id got the tyres on but in the vein of grabbing some pics ill get it out and take some today..... ignore the worn ps2 she sits on, they are purely to allow for it to sit without mis-shaping the softer semi slicks.

i will attempt to keep this thread much more updated!!! sometimes i WISH i didn't choose an ///M car to modify to this level, the parts and general maintenance has become rather expensive... when i see something like the 1200 kg mx5 BBR turbo mk-3 that looks imo just as much fun i wish i'd choosen a little more wisely.... however the engine, shoehorned into a long noise short tail roadster is something we probably wont see again...

Do you know which wheels these are?

I believe there was a 219 and a 260 that look identical to me. I'm thinking about getting some for my e46 but I dont know if the offset will fit. I believe they fit the e46 m3 but mine's just a standard body. I might just buy some and try them. Did you have any problems or did they just go on?

Hey I've got them engine mounts in mine.

You said the AFR sits at 11.5 which is safe. I've just got my car and it runs a custom map but its normally aspirated. I know nothing about AFR. There is an AFR device in my car which has numbers flashing up on the display. How do I know what's good and what's bad?

AFR above 12 on load and you are starting to run lean and will end up with knock and hot spots

these are the euro 260 rim, they have a thinner spoke and imo look much better, fitment is tight however, i think far easier on the e46 m3 as you guys have more room, on the z4m these need -2.5+ neg camber for the uber agreesive offset to work, great on a weekend/track toy, not so much on a daily runner, you'd ruin tyres in no time, with my use however the track use keep the shoulder pretty worn too really equalling out this issue....

Dont forget lean and rich figures are different for n/a and Fi cars, i wouldnt want to be seeing 12s on my blown s54..... however n/a im unsure and dont want to scare you, maybe someone will pop in here and give you some better advice.

I have similar front brakes on my e46. They're developing a small lip from wear. How do I know when they need replacing?
