Looks fantastic! In your opinion, would my BMW 330ci AUTO/TIPTRONiC cope with this tour or would something a little less gt be a better bet?
I don't know if you have already stated but how much did the whole thing cost you in the end?

Brilliant thread!

Really does make me want to do something like this, at 20 years old and 2 months from a 3 years no claims bonus I am definetely looking at my options, I don't quite think it would be the same in a 1.2 clio somehow...

How did the megane do? I am looking into these over the next few months you see.

Whoever organised the hotels- they did a great job they all look epic.

Ok part 2 is now up - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1359JcIaJxI

The whole trip condensed down to 13 minutes, I won't be held responsible for anyone getting motion sickness hehe

As i think i said to you before this is an excellent write up Umair, I have been working on my own and have just read this again and it's far better than mine so I may just give up.

I know we sell this trip on the roads and the places we visit but what really makes them special is the people who come along.

This year the group was just fantastic, made all the hard work arranging it very worthwhile indeed. The true friendship, the constant smiles, the banter over the walkie talkies and at dinner are almost impossible to describe.

It was a pleasure to have you on this trip and we're looking forward to having you back again in 2011, and the MX5 will always be welcome.

Fortunately you only have to put up with me for BOTH Alps Tours next year, the Viking will have to wait till the year after I imagine! hehe

A longer compilation video is in the works so I will EVENTUALLY get them up here, I just never seem to get round to finishing it.

& NOW!

After having to endure working as a snow plough I'm harking back to warmer times...Part 2 of the first 4 days.

Is yours a 1.6 or 1.8?

Nice video, I got some chills watching it, ha. I need an MX5.

Very inspirational thread.

It's really difficult to capture the scenery in Europe, it's totally under-rated in my experience. Made it up a few alpine passes earlier this year in Southern Austria, I have the bug but there's no way I could drive 300miles a day unfortunately.
