Different colour, but I think it's a grower. Lovely car though

I forgot to add the pictures!

So here you go. My GTA now on Teledials

Since my last update, the GTA blew the spark plug out of the head towards the end of the year, costing another £500ish to rectify. This just about topped off a pretty stty 2011. A quick service was also done around the same time.

Its now Feb 2012, and the car is still on the road, getting used daily currently. Current milage is 103k, and I will have owned it for 4 years in June. 2 years longer than any other car I have owned.

I have just purchased some braided hoses, and will change the fluid soon. It also needs a lower engine mount, and 2 new lower arms, when funds let me. Tax and MOT run out 1st April, and I need to make a decision soon if its going to stay in daily use, or if I need to purchase another car. The Rover might even return.

Here is a picture of it clean. It was taken towards the end of the summer, pre Teledials

Nice to see some photos of a Boreal GTA, I still miss my Boreal GTA-SW.

I believe they only imported three GTA's in the colour, though that might have been three Boreal SW's.

My father had a Miro red/tan leather GTA from launch to about 2009/2010ish. Utterly magnificent car, and not a day goes by when I don't think back and smile. God I miss it...

3 green gta's? That's not a bad shout. I have only ever seen one 147 and one SW in the same colour, and that was on the net

Looks absolutely fantastic. I would love to own a 156 GTA at some point. (Currently have a GTV V6).

I think the colour is great. Don't sell it!

Is it still in the NE, because there is a guy on the Alfa forum with a green sw that he shipped to Oz when he moved there.

lovely car and the Vectra in the background reminded me of that other thread..

Would you ever change the exhaust on this to something more vocal?

The Vectra has gone now, the owner split up with the woman, and she arranged for it to be removed.

I do have a slightly louder exhaust than standard. Mine was a mess so I had a stainless backbox fitted a while back. It sounds ok I think.

Yes I think so he texted me at Christmas with an update on the Car just spent a load of money on it, Q2, proper suspension, belts (again) and water pump etc.... I'd love that car back one day, but I could never justify the fuel these days frown

If one Green GTA SW has left the country then that makes just 2 SW's now...

New lower arms, powerflex arb bushes, pulley and lower engine mount all fitted. It drive is so much nicer, and needed to be done prior to its MOT at the end of the month.

104k now.

Braided hoses to be fitted when I get round to it.

The GTA passed the MOT, with nothing more than an advisory for the two fronts.

In honor, her is a picture taken last year, when acting as a pace car, pre teledials
