The scratches have been sorted now, had a good service and cleaned the cooling system, the windows work again. The green beast passed it's MOT!

Absolutely awesome. I really would love an early 735i, they are on my list of cars to own! I too have a large collection of old road tests, brochures and data for old BMWs, especially the E28 M535i - which was the one car I really regret selling.
