Tremendous. Don't change a thing. The beauty of a car like this is that's its just as it left the factory.

They don't make 'em like that any more. cool

bow

That is absobloodylutely fantastic! And that was before I looked at the price.

One of my earliest car memories was going for a drive in brand new one that our neighbour had just bought.

That is lovely.

Dare I say it, but 30mm off the ride height would really suit it. Can you retrofit the M5 suspension?

Mmmmmmm.

EDIT: st, i thought it was an e28!!!!

Oh, the embarrassment!

Those are nice wheels that are on the car, but I don't think they are the original wheels.

It would have rolled on TRX1s (I think).

that is one sweet car and looks very clean.

I can't believe someone would shell out 6.5k and then sell it a few years latter, but all the better for you..

Have you tried the rear recliners yet??? wink

The car passed it's MOT. Taking it to Le Mans next Wednesday!

Unfortunately, it's been keyed twice in the last couple of weeks.. gutted.
Anyone recommend a paintshop/chip repair place in the Manchester area?

Trying not to let it get to me. I'm going to get the scratches sorted then spend a day clay/polish/waxing it.. ready for it to get covered in dust at Le Mans!

I popped into my local BMW garage's parts department, they kindly printed me out the full options list from when it was first bought. It really is fully loaded.
I also found on eBay, the original model price list booklet, The cars Air Conditioning was a £1601 option.. and that was in 1983! Also the Colours and Upholstery leaflet- so I know exactly what shade of pond green the velour interior is!

I'll scan and upload them if anyones interested.
