The video can't convey the sound at all, these are a couple of quotes off Retro Rides forum

Decided to take the duct that I had fiberglassed onto the scoop off, and instead mount one on the tmic itself, this should make it easyer for me to create a hot air extraction system to try and get rid of some of the heat build up in the engine bay when the car has just finished a quarter mile run.



I'll paint it black once I'v got it how I want it.

A little update, went to Avon park a couple of weeks ago and had a bit of a disastrous day, had a couple of mediocre runs whilst i was waiting for my nitrous bottle to get filled, then on the next run this happened just before I got to the start line:


for anyone wondering, that's £65 worth of nitrous escaping through a burst pipe

But it gets worse, I didn't shut the bonnet properly:

Epic. Although watching that, I think a hydraulic handbrake might be in order...

The new bonnet will be standard looking, so no bonnet scoop, which means no TMIC, so this is what will be used instead.

Good to see the charge cooler going on there! Should help reduce the air temps before the SC as well if not better than the top mounted heat you had before.

Are you going to be mounting the Chargecooler rad in front or behind the Intercooler??....

The charge cooler rad should be mostly below the front mount, but maybe just overlaping a bit at the front
