anglia 9.5/10
cortina - 8/10
cossie - 9.6/10 needs better wheels ;-)
P100 - 8/10
BIT BIASED AS IM A FORD Lover ;-)
P100?
The m5 v10 is a wonderful engine, would love a e61 m5 to replace the galant in the future, but would miss the 4wd go anywhere ability in the snow. Just glad we havent had any yet this year!
The slush box I find suits the e31 well, its a big, heavy cruiser. The galants an auto too and every time I bet in it I wish it was a manual. I believe a conversion is possible but I'm not sure if I'll go that far, probably just replace it with something else at some point in the future. There was an 840i for sale near to me for £2995 and I knew it would be trouble before I looked at it. More filler than the complete works of Limp Bizkit and four different shades of blue. Still I would have cut most of it away and made composite pannels to reduce the weight. The auto does suit the cruiser but living in Norfolk there aren't any Motorways to appreciate such a feature.
It's only fair I open the floodgates of critique...
...meet my £148 Fiat Fiorino 1.7D
Blind eBay purchase, paid £148 and had to weld a patch on the passenger side sill (previous bodge) to get through the M.O.T. I've had a couple of minor issues; suspension front mount giving way thanks to a pothole, some pillock breaking the door lock trying to break in and then cutting a brake line; but now it has Punto GT front brakes and wheels. Next I may be looking for a 2.4 JTD transplant and a two inch drop to annoy the "Dub Scene" lot.

I've always had a soft spot the 840. I'd bin the V8 and slush box for a M5 V10 on a Borg Warner seven speed manual.
Tidiest one I've seen for a while so 8/10.
Thanks, finding a nice one is a rather dificult challenge. So many are rusty and havent been cared for properly throughout their lives. Guess they are going through the phase that they are cheap and as such people who cant afford to run them properly are purchasing them and scrimping. Tidiest one I've seen for a while so 8/10.
