Here are some pics from a few weeks ago.
The engine is back in and just the rads and bumper to fit back on, obv with a bit of plumbing and life blood to pour in..

Charge cooler rad in front of the engine rad..

3" Exhaust before it gets the granny scarrer fitted..

Ive received a few bits to put on the TT to help with aero improvements on the front and just general bling..

I will be going back to a twin exit exhaust..hence the valance.

She is running on very low boost at the mo until she is run in.

Might be worth turning the oil cooler the other way up. You've got a decent chance of getting air trapped at the top with both pipes at the bottom.

Hi guys,
the car for sale is Storms TT and manual.
Im sure theirs is a very good example of a blown 3.2.
Mine is a 3.3 with a T04z hybrid hooked up to a DSG.
Unitronic have had 740 bhp at the crank at 16 psi on their mule.
Mine should be dynoed at the end of the month to see what numbers were getting.

ps The oil cooler is installed correctly and due to the pressure differential across it, air is pushed out.

Epic power and car mate! cool

Btw, a little off topic but are the MK1 TTs (225 quattros) tending to suffer from rear diff issues at all? I heard there are, albeit earlier models? Just been looking at them, quite fancy one smile

Rear diffs are ok, but it depends if the car has had any abuse.
Some peeps fit the performance Haldex which applies more load to the rear which may have an effect on reliability.
I have one fitted and my rear diff is ok at the mo but i may be changing it out for a Pel in the future.

Very few people bother with diff oil changes now TTs are cheap.

I think forgetting about the rear of a Quattro car is a big mistake as there are times when 50% of the drive is going through the rear axle.
If the rear locks up whilst on the move, through lack of maintenance, then you get what you deserve, incl a rebuild cost, nevermind what damage you may do to third parties or property.

one of these babies

The one on the right is the rear transverse diff

Works very well with Blue Haldex. Does very little work compared to the front diff tbh
Replaces the transverse open diff which sits behind the Haldex Clutch, and doesn't replace the Haldex.
Its the pump that engages the plates in the haldex clutch that can get worn iirc.

Got mine direct from Garry Peloquin

Cheers..i was after Quaife front and rear but that combo isn't available so half and half was my best option. Maybe i will reconsider doing Pels front and back, but i will do my homework first.

The Peloquin is better & cheaper than Quaife.

Both my front and back diff cost less than a front Quaife in the UK

There are some others options, such as SQS's plate (gripper) front diff

The Peloquin's extra traction is significant smokin

I will certainly consider it as there are a few outlets in the UK that can supply and fit.
Havn't got to the point yet where traction is an issue as im still running her in.

Awesome little mod - I guess you won't annoy the neighbours as much? It's just what most modified cars need at track days!

Just flick the switch as you pass the noise meter whistlehehe
