Stickers are horrid, also confuses me why people do this, each to their own though. I'm also confused as to why you'd buy a new car, with warranty, then void the warranty, knowing full well it'll break down as its French. I had a C4 VTR+ HDI as a company car, turbo went within 2 year, plus other niggly faults, all of which would cost a fortune without a warranty.
The engine blew on this after 8k with the mods in place. Engine was replaced under warranty. The dealership are fully aware of the mods in place (you can't really miss them) and still cover all service and warranty work. You're unlucky I guess.
As great as the PSA Turbo engine is, it is way too fragile. I used to have the same said engine in my Cooper S. While it was a superb engine, very efficient, no lag, quiet when you wanted it to be, and very loud when you didn't (especially with the fJCW exhaust), it was the biggest weak spot in the car reliability wise. The JCW has stronger internals, so seem a little better at taking power, but it's certainly not unheard of for these engines to go bang so soon, mods or not!

Car looks good, not sure on the decals though.
Where did you get the NOS kit from? What make is it?
It's a WON [Wizards of NOS] kit. I bought it second hand from my fried who used to have it in his MG TF. Where did you get the NOS kit from? What make is it?
Bare in mind, the WON Kit's are pretty pricey but the RnD/customer service team they have there is superb.
This didn't attract many warm comments when you posted it originally did it?!
I like the DS3. Hate the Running lights on the front (way too bright / tacky) but overall it looks a nicer proposition to a 500 / Cooper.
I'm also 23, and very jealous that you're able to afford to buy a car like that and modify it! I guess someone did well at school.
..Stickers look ridiculous though. You may not be a chav, but it will always look like you're driving a chavs car. If the hat (or cap, I guess) fits....

No no far worse
With your opinions in mind I might just pop down to halfords and find a stick on plastic R instead In all fairness, it's putting down more power than the ds3r now so it wouldn't look too out of place.. [/sarcasm]
Just put of interest. What are everyone's thoughts on the DS3R's black and orange colour scheme?

Only with NOS and even then only just, plus I can’t help but feel the price of a brand new Dsport with your mods far outweighs the price of a DS3R, the DS3R will also handle better and has better brakes, I would rather have the R over yours no offence! I also can’t help but feel dropping the cat may have harmed the figures (removing the cat doesn’t guarantee a performance boost nor does it equal better airflow)In all fairness, it's putting down more power than the ds3r now so it wouldn't look too out of place.. As for the colour scheme on the R I think it’s awesome but some won’t like it, the black and white R is a good compromise!

I think you missed the closing sarcasm task on my last post re: mine being better than a DS3R..

All comments considered - when you come to sell the car do you think you'll get more or less interest if you remove those stickers?
What's the weak spot on the PSA engine? Any ideas?
Obviously the stickers would come off at selling time as I appreciate they're personal preference. What's the weak spot on the PSA engine? Any ideas?
Most people resolved/worked around the issue with the THP by placing a cap over the PCV to bypass it.
