Cheers for the comments so far guys, both positive and negative smile

With regards to the boost gauge that was only added yesterday and I'm still not 100% convinced. I merely wanted it there to measure boost before I look at changing the engine/turbo any more. The wires will eventually be tidied bu the stickers are staying smile

mmm not a fan but i appreciate you like it......

please please please when you mod a car and add boost gauges ect ect please do it properly, on a car this new its a crying shame to have that pod stick on the dash like a vaginal wart...... even worse youve left the wires exposed and tucked down the side of the dash.....

youve got a brand new car, start right and mod it right....

bet with 190bhp its nippy!! i love the that engine!!
Totally agree with that. The decals are awful and the car looks so much nicer in the photo of it brand new. As for that boost gauge, like has been said, it looks very badly attached and wires hanging out over the back of the dash is not a good look.

Totally in my opinion, and I do like these cars a lot. However, I have yet to understand why people buy cars and then have the manufacturers name plastered all over it with cheap vinyls/stickers? The only thing that would make it more obvious is driving through your local high street with a loudhailer out of the window, telling everyone that you own a Citroen DS3.

Other than that, lovely stuff.

Nice car DF, these always make me turn my head for a good look.

But I'm another who doesn't like the stickers - They remind me of the dazzle camouflage used by the navy to break up a ship's outline -

I like them as Im not keen on White DS3s, they look too bulky, this nixes it up a bit. In a good way!

In what sense? Because I've added a decal to my car I'm automatically a chav?

From that comment I can only assume you're living in sheltered accomodation and often contact your local PCSO because of "all them hoodies" hanging around at the nearest bus shelter.

Ignore the trolls. PH seems to be filled with sheep at the moment, its all down to personal taste.

If it was a Toyota celica rally rep they would be inside Uranus. But something different isn't applauded by most!

Enjoy your car, wish I was in a position to afford a new one and mod it!

I love these, well done for being different and not following the herd by joining countless others and buying a bloody Mini - and well done too for giving your DS3 the punch it really deserves - good work.

Love the car, but I don't mean to sound boring, I don't like the stickers or how you've mounted the boost gauge... it deserves a nice tody instal. But I guess with a car this new there's not a great deal of choice in terms of aftermarket parts.

I test drove the oil burning 90bhp DS3 and thought it was great, 190bhp must be awesome in these things!

I must be getting old as i really dont like the look of them one bit BUT....

Like the sound of the 190bhp with a map, is it the 1.6 turbo engine the mini / vxr has?

Large stickers for me = nono unless your advertising your business / tuning company etc or your car is a full on track slut like the DSR3 as some have said - this is a sedate road car. - Its your car though so :-)

I think its the Mini engine yes, but has nothing to do with the Corsa VXR engine

I always assumed the mini engine is the same as the Corsa VXR and Peugeot 207gti? ^^

Same as the 207 GTi, but nothing to do with the Corsa.

Forgive the fact that it's a 30 second bodge job, but I think this looks a lot better and suits the lines of the car more.

Otherwise, as good a car as it is, I've never seen the point in buying a brand new Citroen, as it will be worth about 50% in a year or two!

Don't let me or the other grumblewarts put you off though, should be a fun little car!

Correct, same as the mini and peugeot and absolutely fly's with the map! Also pulls out a decent MPG if I drive it sensibly smile

Can't see most of the pictures from work. However I am quite interested in one of these next.

What was the remap? How much was it and have you had any problems with it?

Great car you have there!

BUT

you've guessed it... the stickers dude - they gotta go. They are making your awesome little car look just plain wrong... tacky.

No offence mate - as you say it's just down to personal taste ...but judging by the comments before mine, it's a VERY personal taste an no ones liking them!

Whatever you decide to do with the stickers enjoy the car - looks great in white.

The remap was done by one of the folks from Viezu for £260.

I've put about 5000 miles on the clock since having it done with absolutely no issues. The drive is absolutely superb, handling can sometimes be a tad light in the wet however other than that I loves it!

Really like these cars. Was going to get the Racing for the wife but 23k is a joke compared to 16ish for the Sport. I would also lose the stickers but if you like them keep them, it's your car.
