Did you decide on wheels, or are you going with them?
I'm sticking with the Team Dynamics for now, but have kept the Ford RS accessory wheels in case I change my mind.EarlOfHazard said:
Any updates on the Fiesta??
Sadly not. I have a deadline to meet with the M3 project which means the Fiesta has taken a back seat until after the summer.Isysman said:
Crazy thread. You have mad skills sir!
As others have said I can't believe you've put so much effort into a Fiesta but big respect for your skills. Definitely a Fast Ford article here once finished. In fact you should have contacted them and done a running series of articles.

What I should have said in my last update was that I personally wasn't working on the car until the end of the year, but Ian is still progressing with the engine! The custom pistons have been produced. Ian had quite a bit of working out with these due to the stroke and pin height.
The pistons are completely bespoke and weigh just 286 grams! To put that into perspective the piston/ring/pin assembly from a 1999 Ferrari F1 enginge weighs 422.4 grams (If my info is correct).
I asked for the skirts to be coated in DLC, Teflon or similar.

I have just this minute registered as I felt I had to comment on your immense build!!.It's the best restoration/modification of a vehicle I have ever ever seen. You sir are a highly talented man. You need to be doing this for a living not a hobby. You make these restoration programs on tv look amateurs!!
I cannot wait to see this project at its completion. Please keep up the excellent work and progress coming!!!
