Scotty's MR2 TURBO project
Discussion
When you bought it that was a virtual sister car to mine (wheels, interior and side strips were the only differences).
Can't claim I like everything you've done, but I'm seriously impressed by the workmanship and the way you've taken the less positive reviews in your stride.
For what it's worth:
I think the wheels are fantastic
The wide arches and engine cover* do look race-focussed rather than chav
The engine paintwork is certainly eye catching and IMO a good alteration
You were right to replace the interior!
Enjoyable thread..

Also, in some pics, the front bumper bit of the kit doesn't look at all smooth. It looks deformed in places. Sorry.
Yea thats the problem with fiberglass, its never perfect and also expands and detracts with different heat.Mr MXT said:
I can't decide whether I love it or hate it? It certainly looks 100% better than I thought it was going to!
Thank you! As its not some 18 year olds saxo it isnt just a halfords horror!Beedub said:

It looks great, but needs to be about an inch lower and about two inches wider track.
Thanks! Well it is all ready 50mm wider at the rear and 20mm at the front. I am trying to find some 10" rears and 8.5" fronts but am struggling with finging the off sets itt need. It would be an inch lower if i put it on 17" wheels!I didnt want to go too low as i wanted to keep the drivability of the car!

I have changed the seats again! I have some BRIDE seats on their way!
To everyone that doesnt like it.....
Thats fair enough, we all have different tastes and everyone is entitled to their opinion. The car world would be rather dull if everyone did exactly the same thing!
