Porsche meet/drive
Discussion
I should have my RS by the 23rd, so will be good fun.
UV - did the 930 flatnose feel quicker than your 965, or are you just being kind to a Porsche of an older vintage?
There's something wrong with my speed judgment these days - I thought the Turbo 2 3.6 was 'quite rapid' rather than 'super-dooper tremendously fast' ;-)

It's very different because of the 4 speed box. Mine is more revy and comes on boost earlier, but requires you change up sooner if you want to 'make quick progress'. Steve's boosts a bit latter but you really feel the turbo and it makes use of all of the longer gearing.
They are probably very similar, just different ways of getting there.
No getting away from it though a Red Flat Nose looks fab

Thanks for the kind remarks U/V, thought yours was bloody quick too!.Will get some pics posted soon.
Steve.
So what time do you all want to meet chaps.?Do you want to meet in the morning have a drive, then back to the pub for lunch?Or do you want to make it in the afternoon about 3pm so that we avoid the lunchtime crowds, have a drive and then back for a drink and chat?
