Hmm. The likes of Jim Clark and Alain Prost were clearly wrong then. They should have been wearing out their equipment like everyone else. scratchchin
Please read what I wrote! I didn't mention wearing things out, did I? But you will notice I mentioned the sensors overheating and melting - this even happened late morning on a standard 996 I loaned to a race school for "Billies" to have a few laps in (and the odd hot lap with an instructor at the wheel) so not exactly heavy use. Hence the point - if the sensors are lasting (no-one else mentioned any issues with them) then there's a good chance that the car hasn't been driven close to its performance limits. smile
