Porsche only Trackday - final call
Discussion
Last 3 places available on our Porsche only Trackday at Castle Combe Monday 21st June.
Very limited numbers, free tuition, free sit down lunch with pudding !!
Best of all - free passenger laps in a selection of Porsche race cars driven by some of the best drivers in the UK.
Not only that, if you`ve never done a trackday before we`ll hold your hand and help you along (there are already a number of trackday virgins booked in so you will be in company).
It promises to be a great day, very relaxed with nobody using the day as a cheap race test day (all the race cars / drivers are there ar our invitation to give passenger laps).
We`ll even arrange for sunshine on the day.
£225 for a car and up to 2 people.

Might just have to have that 'System Porsche' Seat Ibiza I was offered the other day for a whole £50, (think I'll haggle down to £30 tho )just to take part as its a pork only day..... 1.5 liters of snarling roadburning Porsche developed rocket ship- complete with bizrre transverse leaf spring rear end... Oh such automotive joy
Ps I am joking, although maybe I'll get it just for the Brands Porsche festival lap parade tho (complete with its current owners roofrack & window cleaning ladder & bucket on the roof!) & have the concours pipe & slippers brigade crying into their G&Ts

I realise this is a thread hijack...apologies.
Alex: Are you going to the Porsche Festival? I'm doing the Trackday on the Friday but I haven't booked up anything else yet...
At the moment I'm planning on track day Friday, back home, and then go either for the Monday or the Sunday just for the day...

I too have that trackday booked on the Friday Don...see you there. i know quite a few guys going,,some quite serious drivers.
Last year quite a few of the PH pork boys met up, i am sure we will do much the same this year.
As i live 15 mins away I will probably spend more time at the festival than at home that weekend.

Don/clubsport. You guys seem to know what is going on with the Porsche Club Brands Hatch Event. Would you care to do a thread which mentions what is happening each day? ie which day is the trackday and which day is there porsche racing. Would be good to see who is going on what day. Make plans, book accomodation for a few beers on one of the evenings.

Not at Henry's bash...I've already done Combe twice this year with the club so...my hard earned is going on other circuits. Doing Brands at the festival and Goodwood on September 15th.

If no-one beats me to it I'll start a thread a bit later on, Daz. Are you going in your lovely machine?
Well, this is what track days should be like.....
Over 150 miles on track, well behaved participants, (except for the one in the Dyno-Rod car....)excellent lunch as part of the deal,(have Combe changed their caterers?) good atmosphere, open pit lane, no pressure, and the sun was shining!! (despite the forecast...)
Same time next year?

Glad to hear you had a good time. I just want to second your opinion of Combe's food. I had an absolutely brilliant lunch at the Easter Saturday track-day and a stonking breakfast at the June 3rd day.
I occasionally drive through the area when not doing track-days and would now consider stopping at the circuit just to use the restaurant!
