Just sold my 996 Targa to these boys...based near Canary Wharf, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking at 993-996 second hand. Really professional set up and were fair with me....on the way to sell it on to them (Gallardo arrives tomorrow) I managed to stumble across the path of a mad motorcycle courier who, at 60mph, scuffed the front spoiler. All this on the way to sell the bloody thing. I can only imagine the spanking I would have taken at an OPC with this terrible chain of events. Dealt with scott Kavanagh who is ex - OPc anyway.

So if you thinking of diving into Porsche ownership, these guys seemed OK.

£3500 difference from best bid from OPC. They were honest about the fact they retail it at shade over £50k and take £2000 out of it. Not great but could have been worse!

Adrian and I have had many dealings with Camtune over the years - mainly Godalming, Surrey site - professional outfit and well worth a visit.

So, do you recommend them for doing proper services on a 993 turbo?

Sorry to be stupid, but is that £3500 more than the OPC, or less?

Why would someone get two offers for their car and then sell it to the lower one

I'm pretty sure you could do a deal at £50k, yes. Tempted?

I bought one three weeks ago, a 996 Targa and they were generally good to deal with, esp Scott.

Car itself was beautifully prepared by them but they were very reluctant to do much of a deal. Felt slightly peeved therefore when I saw one advertised at a OPC in sunday Times for 3K less with similar miles -just hope spec was crap and it was a bad colour

IF I don't get it serviced at an OPC (it has been) going forward, am I likely to get a kicking when I trade it in? Any views?

Ah, just buy her some Jimmy Choos, she'll come round to your way of thinking.
