Hello, i am currently looking for a set of 17" turbo twist or cup alloys to fit my 1991 944 S2 Cabriolet as the 16" design 90's just don't do the look of the car justice. Can anyone help me out, i need a set as cheap as possible as i have spent all my budget buying and insuring the car. I'd prefere them with good tyres which won't need replacing in the nxy few thousand miles minimum. If anyone can help, i'd appriciate it.

cheers

Dave

i've looked on ebay but the final selling price usually goes above my price limit or if i can afford them off ebay, they usually need tyres all round which means spending the same again (if not more) on tyres.

Don't forget about the recommended castor mount upgrade to the 968 type.

Dave

How much were you thinking of spending?
I have recentley gone down this route & it cost me £490 for a set of 17" Twist Cups with very good SO2's.
I thought this was good value & seemed that this was the going rate +/- a few quid.

The ride is better on 16" rims BUT the 17" rims look soooooooooooooo nice

i can afford up to around the £400-450 mark with very good tyres on or just a couple of hundred if the wheels needed tyres all round (as these would be more than the cost of the wheels).

anyone feeling generous enough to help a young chap out?
