You have forgotten;
Manual gearboxes are for people with beards & sandals who think they are awesome drivers that are faster than computers and bang on about 'feel' - Autos are for people who have limited driving capability and co-ordination problems (Goes well with lady park).
Air cooled are slow, old, rubbish and noisy vs Water cooled are the work of the devil himself and arent actually a 'real' Porsche.
Cabriolets are for hairdressers with blonde hair called Anthony and Coupes are for ugly people that bore everyone about chassis stiffness.
Any more?

Aren't these cars very expensive to run, especially when DEPRECIATION is taken into account?
I'm a Porsche driver and some unwashed chap was disrespectful to me and I want to know how to arrange to have him flogged.
What options are essential? (Answer: all the ones on my car, none of the ones on your car and by the way mine is the nicest colour.)
I'm hoping to get onto the Olympic team for prevarication and procrastination, could you help me make up my mind as to how I make a decision about how to spend my own money.
Porsche engines leak oil and blow up - would it be a good idea to have a warranty?
Money: I have lots/a little/borrowed some; my way of doing financial things is right, anyone who disagrees is an idiot.

There hasn't been a classic quite like the "can someone lend me a piece of a secondhand claybar" thread since the "can someone lend me a piece of a secondhand claybar" thread.
Off topic, there's a thread on the AV forum that's on a par with the clay bar question.......paddyhasneeds said:

+1As the thread suggests, I am afraid.
I'm afraid of meeting some of these people and being bored to death.

Its still F'n brilliant.

If you can't afford the depreciation or don't want to take the risk then don't buy it. The day I paid for mine I knew I was basically throwing away £80K, I am not rich and this was an extravagance but one that I went into with my eyes wide open and aware of what I was getting myself into. I also had the blessing of the wife so that made it more bearable.
Its still F'n brilliant.

C'mon guys, as snoop dogg would say, let's put this thread to bed, it's embarrassing enough as it is.
I think we can all agree that depreciation on your 911 will be roughly 12% in the first year, 11% in the second and so on, with the occasional bump and dip for economic circumstances and new car issues.
Let's end it there

Exactly, the boggo 911 is a high volume mass produced car. Even the low volume & very special 997.GT3RS has lost £30k (25%).I think we can all agree that depreciation on your 911 will be roughly 12% in the first year, 11% in the second and so on, with the occasional bump and dip for economic circumstances and new car issues.
