Top 3 were after the local car wash guys had washed it.
These 3 were after I applied some autoglym polish and then some autoglym
deep shine after . In under an hour you can apply polish , rub it off, then
apply the deep shine and rub it off. Results are pretty good and its easy to remove
with no white residue.
Been out all day in her. Visited Hatfield house where the parking guy said to me I was
too late for the Ferrari show as it was yesterday !!! He should have gone to specsavers!
Just off out again as its such a lovely day its seems a shame to sit in when I could be
cruising

Hi - whats the cover plate for the hood mechanism in your add?
I think thats the bit thats not on mine
It covers the hood release mechanism from memory. It's the shape of a silhouette of a snowman (hope that makes sense). You could end up with an ejector seat style hard top if somebody was careless I guess I think thats the bit thats not on mine

thought i would ask some actual owners their thoughts, there is a 03 986 2.7 with 140k miles for less than five grand in the classifieds just up the road from me or a £7.5k 987 also highish miles @ 120k a little further away, which would you choose if at all?.
That 987 seems very cheap, even with those miles. Definitely worth a look, I'd think.5678 said:
Lots of people here talk of cars at £5k and less. Yet when I look, similar age/mileage cars are up at £6-7k? Are you really beating people down that much?!
My 2001 S was £7.7k back in early March this year. It was one of the cheapest dealer ones around. I don't have any special car friends or contacts and just used the usual websites to source. It came with hard top, a folder full of docmentation, solid specialist and OPC history and previous big bills lol. Aside from 'upgrades' I have only paid out so far on a service and a pair of rear tyres *touch wood*edc said:

What would you expect to pay for it if you were buying it now?
Having been 'shopping' earlier this year and still now 'window shopping' I have been watching prices for over a year now. The winter drop or summer price hike don't really exist IMO. I thought they did but perhaps it all nets out as you compound year on year depreciation. I watched a fair few cars have £1k added to their sticker price come March/April but still stick around. If I were buying my car again, and ignoring any upgrade extras, from a non-franchise dealer I would expect to pay perhaps 5% less. I have added 6k miles but aside from that the condition is almost the same if not better - it now has newly painted front bumper and a mini detail to take out a couple of minor paint blemishes at the rear.5678 said:

My wife has had this over 5 years now, 65k later and just over 90k on the clock. I almost convinced her to swap for a newer one but she really loves guards and we found it hard to find a guards 987S.
We probably won't get rid of it but when we come to buying another we would probably go 993 for summer use.

Got a feeling the Mrs's Poverty Pork is about to kick us in the teeth.
The Emissions Control Warning Light had come on, the owners manual is full of doom and gloom and drive straight to your nearest OPC, do not pass GO, and be prepared to give us way more than £200.....
Is it going to be that bad?.......

Had it plugged into the OBD Computer at the garage up the road and it's recorded a few 'miss fires' on 4 out of 6 cylinders.
Cleared the errors and took it for a spin and it's running like a bag of nails, very similar to a Mk4 Golf GTi I used to have that had a similar coil pack set up, hopefully it's not all 6 but the last service from Porsche did advise that the packs were all cracked, might be time for new plugs as well.
