Collected my Diesel S on Friday in Black with Black. Really happy with the car. Great ride, quite, ample performance and perfect size for around town.

Paid of Elec Memory seats and the passenger seat is fully manual. Only moan!!
Appears they didn't tick the 14way comfort seat box, as you gave the standard 8 way fitted. Whoops....

madness, isn't it?

you get driver's side 8 way electric but passenger completely manual as standard.

my sister had ordered driver memory package (3PJ) thinking that passenger side also electric, but no memory.

OPC trying to see if 14 way comfort seats (PE5) can be added .. may be too late, as car is July production frown

Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE) is only available for the Petrol S and Turbo from the Porsche Exclusive range...

You need to get the other brochure...

I own a Cayenne, and don't have any width issues whatsoever on country lanes or in the city. They are only 1.6cm wider than the Macan, hardly enought to call one 'nippier' than the other.
Thanks for this. Am tired of these clichees.

I was looking at this very thing last night; have had our Cayenne Diesel for 3.5yrs from new. What an excellent car. But the lack of need to cart a pram and stuff around turns thoughts to something smaller. Which the Macan is not. 20cm shorter and 6cm narrower mirror to mirror as far as I can see, not massive differences.

And been quoted 'not earlier than end 2015' for delivery by Swindon OPC.

I was amazed by the 18mth delivery time i have been quoted this week. After all, moneyis made by selling cars. Anyway, where there's a will there's a way. 3 speculative emails later, and I am taking delivery of a Diesel S with a perfect spec for me (including Pan roof and 2 fully electric seats!) at the end Sept. It will be a 6mth old dealer demo with something like 7k miles on. Simples. And the Cayenne has only cost me 20k in depreciation over 25k miles and 3.5yrs. Can't be bad.

The 3.0d new one. Had it 3.5yrs from new- great car, time for a change and something a (tiny bit) smaller.

I recall paying 58k (I locked in the lower VAT rate with an early deposit and since when prices have risen) and am selling it for around 38. New Macan diesel S with decent spec 56k.

Hi Richard. List price. An OPC cannot sell above list, which is where others for sale are offered (look like between 2 and 5 over to me). 18mth waiting list will doubtless keep used stock buoyant.

Has anyone had any issues with tyres yet?
I have a turbo with 21's on order for early next year and am now a bit concerned after speaking to a mate today who has got a diesel S with Continental 21's and only 1500 easy miles on the clock. He is totally amazed that the two front tyres are almost completely evenly worn.
This sounds disastrous news especially as I'm changing from a Q7 with 21's - which I thought was the king of tyre eaters!! frown

Then why go for the 21 inch ?? their too big anyway for a midsize SUV....

The 20 inch look far better on a Macan and almost without doubt drive better as well.

1500 " easy " miles ? - I presume a mis type somewhere - different car but my wifes Cayenne GTS on 21 inch with air and not driven exactly sedately wil get somewhere better than that !

It must be a fluke! Too soft tyres, tyre pressure, tracking... etc! His Porsche centre is on it, so will keep you updated if I hear anything.

If a car at the PEC burnt through tyres in 1500, fair enough. Anything else. Having a LOT of fun, or something wrong...

I've got 20" RS Spyders on my Petrol S, had it 3 weeks and done nearly 900 miles with no noticeable tyre wear so far. Oh, and to all the doubters it really is a fantastic car to drive.
