I weighed mine at Brands with probably half a tank of juice, spare wheel, tool kit etc. I'm pretty sure it was 1320kg. Before you strip it take it to the local council rubbish tip and put it on their weigh bridge. Beware of light weight bumpers. Even a low speed bump will see the front panel and boot floor pan taking the hit.

Just seen this. Nice one Lee. Good to see another old 911 about to be turned into something special. Can't wait to see the finished article. Some great pics on this thread already. The white car above and Graemels 935-alike look brilliant. Good luck with the project!

 Turning a SSE or late Carrera into something like this knocks the spots off new 911's.Add a bit of lightness and stiffen up the ride and wal ah! Lots of fun mate.

Don't even think about panels from GT racing mate,Try Andy (R-RSR) or if you want the dogs b  ks panels in kevlar try Noel at NUR motorsport they're beautiful.
