I like the black interior (the missus has it on her cayman) but just fancy a change and that link of that one red with beige don't half look smart IMO.
I'm back to the OPC on Saturday Morning to confirm spec, so need to get this nailed down....and grow some balls and just go Beige !

I attended the launch last Thursday at OPC Cardiff. The list price of rhe Boxster S is just over 44k yet the specced price of the three cars at the launch was 56k,61k and 65k.I personally believe that when you pay a relatively high price for a car you should have most of the options as standard and only a few options to spec yourself. If people are happy to pay 10k -30k on optiond to spec their car then fair enough but seams silly to me to spend another 50% of the car value on options.
Although I am a 911 owner if I was going to buy a Boxster I would want maximum bang for my buck.I would buy a non S in Aqua blue,20" Carrera S wheels, mats, delete model discription, manual, sports exhaust and sports design steering wheel.Total price £41708 and to me would seam quite good value for money and would look identicle to a Boxster S yet still do 164mph,0-60 in 5.8 seconds and 34.4 mpg and you do not need any more performance in this day and age.
Also save me 20k-25k on a heavily specced Boxster S.

is it really just me that thinks the red / beige combo looks decent ?
anyone sat in a newish car with beige in it ? even if it was another porsche model ?
Personally I detest the beige interior. With the dash also coming in that colour it just looks like you're sitting in a bowl of puke! anyone sat in a newish car with beige in it ? even if it was another porsche model ?
Hope that helps

Agreed although why be ashamed of having a non-S. Even more fun when you outgrip much (theoretically) faster cars.
