They are lovely looking aren't they? Don't think they've ever been in fashion though - even when new!

Still, it doesn't detract from the icon that the car is, I'd love a 930 in white or red but find my 3.2 is so practical and driveable and relatively cheap to run, one day though, just maybe........PS. My Carrera has an upgraded Danske Sport exhaust, makes me a bit of a hypocrite but mine is standard looking cosmetically.

30mm doesn't seem a lot but does wonders for the appearance of a 911, not sure if it's a big improvement on handling as I've not had the chance to compare it.

I have to admit I'm anything Gulf oil Porsche fan, why did you go for the razor pattern edge with the blue by the way ?

My son had been designing a couple of cars on Forza 4 and I quite liked the ragged edge design he was using. Idea was the Basalt black paintwork is being ripped away to leave the racing colours below showing through… When I scrape up the funds I'll get the car re-sprayed to hide the stone chips but until then the stripes does the job and puts a grin on my face!
