What about the pink one that had some history that was eBay for ages, last I saw was it was bid to £50k but it had the right bits & numbers with it.
I did check that RHD rubystone car when I was looking for mine...it has suffered a highway accident with a truck. I wouldn't go close to it personally. Quality repairs done by a well known shop though. RSGulp said:

I like the thrill of the search as much as the next guy, but I doubt even I could be bothered with the hassle of finding a good '64RS.
I guess that the bottom line is that it is now so much cheaper to build a Carrera up to RS spec that that is what most people who want one are going to do. Clearly that will result in a lot of them being out there. At 100k£ it shouldn't limit their usability! We are not talking risking your whole pension plan, life savings or your mortgage - it's only a car and there quite a few that are so much rarer and worth much much more!
If you own one, use it, enjoy it...and I'm actually quite certain that that's what most 64RS owners are doing.
I actually believe that that's the beauty of this car, and others such as 93RS, 96RS, Stradale...they are modern classic that are 200% usable.

Silly price, silly season so will get snapped up by the week-end. Lol at the price.
I would go for a box fresh one instead:

This looks to be an interesting car by the description...no doubt suitably interesting price too http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

I think I saw that car for sale at Essen. Looks lovely post the rebuild / new paint.
Different car i think, like the yellow ex-burrows n/gt, this car was repainted very early in it's life and has been in Switzerland with two owners from new.I dont think that the previous owner showed it at essen.
As far as we can tell the engine has not been apart, service book backs up km, was 10300 when bought and will be12500 when i get back from my euro jaunt - at that point i have a decision to make as my original plan to track the car sadly does not make financial sense - rs values are a double edged sword imho...
Thanks for the interest,
Regards,
Kevin
asbi ........ looks like it might like to go on a track ????? stripped out etc , does not look like a car for the shopping trip.
TIME to man-up enter the Porsche Open in it in September , we will have RSRs there so bit of fun...
Raced a black clubsport with low milage a few years back in the Open , it is what they make them for.
