Better wait for the glue to set on the roof though...
Ha ha....hopefully they have designed this Cayman at the same time as the Boxster to avoid the strange goings on with grafting a roof on the old Boxster....e.g. this time not having to put acoustic weights in the hatch lid to suppress the booming sensation in the cabin...Divergence of Cayman and Boxster is much more apparent this generation, mentioned in another thread that I saw the finished car at the factory presentation a few months ago. I have also been told that the rear of the car has been through at least two different iterations.
I liked it, but don't (visually) expect a Boxster with a roof glued on this time around.

It does feel like the Boxster/Cayman is the exciting new thing to drive and the 911 has gone into proper GT for status' sake territory (More polished excellence than outright fun).
I don't disagree but you could say exactly the same about the 997/987. My Cayman S would murder either of my 997s down a proper B road.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
