What does it cost and how long does it add to a build time?

A bit under £3k on a 991 I understand. No idea howit affects build time, if at all.

What about a 991 coupe this colour then? My favourite ever Porsche colour, but I am not sure I have the balls to do it...

I think this would work extremely well with the 991 shape. If you love it then do it!

I have discussed this with the factory. Lead time is 6 months if the colour testing process has already started.
E.g. I asked for Gulf Blue (the real one) on the 981 and was told that the colour is already being tested and so it would be less than 6 months, but they couldn't confirm the actual time until the final result.

Will be interesting to hear if Gulf Blue is available. I read on here that it was refused on a CGT order a few years ago and the technical reason given didn't sound plausible. I have also read on here that it isn't allowed for commercial reasons which again sounds iffy. Is there a Pantone reference No? Can you copyright a colour? Perhaps Porsche has contractual relationship with Gulf that requires them not to offer it (even at a premium price) but I don't follow the logic.

(what colour is it?) It's 275 light green metallic. It was a 911 colour from 1978-1980. It's an unusual colour in as much as it appears lime green in some lights, gold in others, and a light silvery green in at other times. It's a bit like the b d child of Peridot and Lime Gold.

It's funny though that the cars (911's) that get my attention are the ones that are neither these colours. I'd go the colour you are talking, or Polar, or Arena

The Wire? Think that was flat olive green colour, was it? The Bridge? A 2.7S narrow bodied IB 911 from the mid-70s. Not sure of the exact colour though, the washed out stock they used didn't help. SS7
