Looks like mine I still haven't finished running mine in yet, so haven't gone beyond 4,000RPM - looking forward to getting there though. They are great cars!

I have had the spec come through. Heated and electric seats!!!! a little confused why anyone would add this. How difficult is it to get these removed?
I wonder if they can get a tow bar added!!

I wonder if they can get a tow bar added!! Some people don't fit, others use them as daily drivers, there's a bum for every seat I did cover it in that 4 day report though, I'm a fairly slim bloke & at 5'9 not very tall so I fit in them just fine. But, I can see why folk who even can fit in them would still get fed up with them on a daily basis, parking in modern parking bays would be just one situation. I'd say they're an intrinsic part of the R experience though, so for me they'd have to have them

I like it MILLER or BOYLE ha ha We all know its MILLER but J-P your going to have to BOYLE a little longer I think unless your going on a road trip, I know that's what i would be doing topping up them miles asap. ( the sound of the exhaust As for the seats once your in they are perfect to be honest and Laurasotherhalf your right they are part of the R's experience and help to remind you the car something special ,every time you get in them. The drive, we have had all sorts of weather, rain, sun and all within half hour of each other the last week and I have found the R does like to slip in damp conditions so you do have to be careful but again its a special car and does need respect and its just letting you know don't get too cocky matey haha. Over all just fabulous car, I fill a MEET coming on or at least a little road trip As for my Brother he loves his 997 turbo tip but he is not happy with the sound of his car compared to the R's tone and how smooth the pdk is, so I made the right choice I love the turbo's but I wanted something new, with out the worries of the older cars even though I did want one. 996 C4S great ,996tt great,997tt great but I wanted the PDK because of the road conditions and i am in london a lot. BEST OF ALL WORLDS CAYMAN R . Only down side only 2 seats but I guess they can follow in the car behind

Phooey that was genius! Finally cracked the mileage, so she'll be getting a spanking at the next outing Had a longish drive today. Went to York and back. I think the car is amazingly comfortable, I was worried that the bucket seats would be a PITA, but they were supremely comfy, the most comfortable seats I've sat in. I got out feeling relaxed and alert, no aches and pains whatsoever! The fuel consumption was pretty awesome too! 27MPG! Why aren't there more Caymans on the road? I only saw one other on the road today, yet there were plenty of Boxsters and yet more 911s. I find this strange, the car is a great drive and the R is simply superb. I'm really looking forward to exploring her limits. So far, it's dealt with everything I've thrown at it with total aplomb. I'd always thought of it as a bit of a track fiend but it's actually an amazing road car and that pasisive suspension set-up is sublime. I've not come across better, whoever signed that off at Porsche deserves a medal! Mate of mine had an Elise a few years back and that was an eye-opener, although you didn't feel bumps, by heck could you hear them! Made you wince! Not so the CR though - can't wait to do a track day!

I've never seen a Cayman R on the road EVER!!! I assume that they are quite rare... Only around 250 in the UK according to another thread which should keep them exclusive! Glad to hear everyone enjoying their R's I got 27mpg from my first fill up which was a nice surprise... @JP - Must be relief to finally be able to open the taps

Welcome to CR ownership, the place to be! On the subject of seeing others around, nope, not seen a single other one on the road either. Probably explains why mine gets so many looks when I pass by. The reactions are funny, though I'm not a showy person, so having a white CR with black trim probably wasn't the smartest move I believe there are a around 200 of which it is a 50/50 manual/pdk split. I believe dealer registrations of the cars has now as good as finish, so probably looking at 220-250 in total; so extremely limited for what is a sublime car. Only issue I've found is that despite the odd occasion where the weather is expected to be good, it still manages to rain every time!!!

Looking forward to seeing what she can do and also the "double vanos" effect that happens past 4,400rpm!

Has anyone created a Cayman R register on here, or would that be a bit sad?
Would love to get a CR meet organised, we'll revert to the original plan at some point.

Only ever seen two Cayman R's on the road and they both looked fantastic.
The Cayman shape has grown on me over time and I'm sure it's a cracking drive.
