I've done a number of searches on the web, but so far have fallen short of finding the info I am after. Does anyone know the offset on the 19" stock 997 GT3 RS alloys and whether there are any issues fitting them on a 996TT?

Thanks

Thanks David, this definitely helps from understanding the how the wheels would sit, but I'm still not sure if this would result in any issues with the wheels rubbing.

My current wheels are 18", 8" with ET50 at the front and 11" with ET45 at the rear

The GT3 RS wheels are 19"'s, but are also a bit wider, 8.5" with ET53 on the front and 12" with ET51 at the rear

The calculator indicates the fronts will have 9 mm less space on the inner, will this rub on full lock? Similarly they are 19mm wider on the inner edge at the back, will this cause any problems. I've seen GT3 wheels on a 996TT before, but not sure whether they were RS or not

I'll have another search, but if anyone has put on similar size wheels their findings would be greatly appreciated

I am assuming that someone is offering you a deal on these - the style is after all available in 18" with the correct offsets and widths for your car and going to 19 will trade ride quality for a slight change in look and more expensive rubber.....

For reference though, 8.5 fronts and 12 rears were the 996 GT2 fitment and many have mounted them on normal Turbos, so they will fit. However, those are 18s and have offsets of 40 (f) and 45 (r) so that in itself won't answer your question. if it is inner clearance that is the issue though, there are always spacers...

Yes, there is a set that I can do a deal on, but to your point there are 18"'s available so maybe I should bide my time and wait until a set becomes available with the correct offset etc. I only picked the car up today, I'll be posting pictures later and it is well set up so another reason to leave alone I guess.

These listings are for the wheels that you would need to make up a set of genuine OE GT3 style wheels in turbo fitment. Buying as individuals not the cheapest way of doing it, but they are rare enough that you will do well to get a set for much less truth be told. [All of these have been on there a while though, so they may take offers].

Thanks for the links, I thought I was quite good at finding things on ebay, but I'd not spotted any of them before!
